Conventional and Interventional Radiology Unit
 

This unit composed of 9 machines and offers the following services:

  • Plain X-ray examination of different body parts

  • Different types of contrast examinations as (Barium Swallow, Barium meal, IVP,………etc)

  • Chemoembolization, angiography, nephrostomy and different interventional techniques.

Mammography Unit
 

This unit is composed of the state of the art mammography machine which is the Digital mammography; in addition there are 2 other conventional mammography machines. It offers the following services:

  • Conventional mammography examination

  • Ultrasound breast examination

  • Localization technique for breast masses

  • Biopsy from breast masses

  • Radiofrequency ablation of breast masses

Ultrasound Unit
 

This unit is composed of 6 machines in addition to 2 ELEGRA machines which are the latest and best in this filed. The unit offers the following services:

  • Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound examination

  • Transvaginal and transrectal ultrasound examination

  • Doppler, Duplex, color Doppler examinations to the blood vessels

  • Biopsy from masses

  • Radiofrequency ablation of malignant liver lesions

  • Endoluminal ultrasound for esophageal and gastric tumors

Computerized Tomography Unit
 

It is composed of 2 machines; one of them is a spiral CT connected to virtual endoscopy machine. The unit offers the following services:

  • Different CT examinations of the whole body

  • CT guided biopsy from any masses

  • Virtual endoscopy examination

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Unit
 

It is formed of one 1.5 Tesla MRI machine and offers the following services:

  • MRI examination of different body regions

  • MRA examination

  • Virtual examination

Bone Densitometry Unit

It is formed of bone densitometry machine

Radiofrequency Unit
 

This can be used in:

  • Treatment of hepatic focal lesions

  • Treatment of breast lesions

  • Treatment of chest lesions

  • Treatment of kidney lesions
